23/11/2013 In five countries International flights from Kalamata

Base of Aegean airlines became Kalamata’s airport and already have started flights to foreign countries. Twelve flights per week will be made to nine destinations in 5 different countries. The start has been done on Saturday afternoon, with the first flight for this year in our country. It was a flight from Stockholm which brought 60 golf players in Kalamata for the hotel complex Costa Navarino. On Sunday was the flight Munich – Kalamata, while gradually until May, from Kalamata flights will take place in four destinations in Russia (Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan and Rostov) in two destinations in Sweden (Stockholm and Gothenburg), in Germany (Munich), in Israel (Tel Aviv) and in Ukraine (Kiev).
Overall the Aegean to the full development of the program will perform 12 flights per week to the above destinations with an Airbus A320/319 with crews based in Kalamata.

Messinian Olive Oil

Euripides called Messinia “the land of the good fruit” for its beauty and its fertile rich earth. A large number of modern olive presses run by people who have a deep knowledge of the secrets of the production of olive oil lead to the creation of a superior olive oil.
